Duties:Performing maintenance work as well as upcoming projects, including Data Fixes, enhancements, automation.Participating in all projects across the whole development teamCreating strong relationships with the business, technology management, and Peers and also as a good team playerWorking in a fragmented, complex, and constantly changing environment to deliver projectsTaking ownership of issues and resolving accordinglyCommunicating with both technical staff and business representatives to provide regular project updatesComprehending the existing SQL queries and writing new medium to complex SQL queriesSkills:Extensive experience with different databases (SYBASE IQ/MS SQL SERVER/MEMSQL)Experience working in the financial sector, preferably investment bankingKnowledge of performance tuning and maintenance issuesEager to learn new technologies Memsql, MongoDb, RedShift and PythonExperience in working with large databases such as multi terabytes (3+ Terabytes)Any Cloud experience or Certification (AWS/Azure/Google/Oracle) will be a plusThorough understanding of a structured development lifecycle, realizing the importance of different levels of testingThe interview process will include an initial telephone or Zoom screening.Please let us know your interest for this position.
