SYBASE DBA JD • Ability to work on night shifts & weekends on rotating basis.• Good understanding of Sybase (15.7 & above) internals, architecture etc.• Good understanding of Sybase replication server (any version above 15) architecture, RSSD, connectivity to/from Repserver.• Experience with Repserver configuration, monitoring, performance evaluation, queue/agent management.• Experience with replication down issues & knowledge of scenarios on the issues.• Experience with Heterogeneous replication i.e. from Sybase as source to Oracle/DB2 as targets.• Experience with Sybase server performance troubleshooting, monitoring, handling blockings/deadlocks• Experience with MSA replication, Warm standby. Knowledge of Disaster recovery environment.• Experience in backup/restore of large databases. Performing refresh in replicated environment.• Experience with handling DDL changes in replicated environment.• Experience in handling severity incidents bridges, work under pressure & perform time bound analysis.• Experience with Autosys automation tool. MSSQL DBA JD• Ability to work in night shift & weekends on rotating basis.• Good concept and exposure in MS Sql Server Administration And Sybase administration• Experience in handling VLDB (upto 10TB) & manage business’ Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) & Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)• Troubleshoot MS SQL Server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends• Configure MS SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms• Experience with AlwaysOn, Clustering. Transcational replication, Azure experience is desirable.• Troubleshoot issues with new installation of MS SQL Servers in standalone/ clustered mode.• Very good in troubleshooting MS SQL performance issues, wait analysis, blocking/ deadlock handling, performance improvement suggestions.• On-call troubleshooting experience. Manage Technical Bridges.• Experience with Autosys scheduling & automation tool. Autosys log analysis.• Understanding of different types of storage SAN, NAS etc.• Knowledge on Database security practices & Auditing requirement.• Knowledge of Disaster recovery environment- ID: #49364958
