Description: This position is responsible for first line of IT support for Aeronautics Advanced Development Programs (ADP). This Analyst is responsible for gathering IT requirements, performing business analysis, and offering cost effective solutions to complex problems. Work location for this position is the Lockheed Martin site in Palmdale, CA.Job duties include but are not limited to:-Frequent interface and progress updates with end users and customers in assigned customer areas-Providing direction to IT service providers-Developing and supporting team processes and policies-Successfully participating with other team members on joint projects and performing cross functional tasks, determining priority, and seeing tasks to completion with follow up-Successfully making determinations concerning expenditures for software support and maintenance-Leading discussions and facilitating business unit relocations plus coordinating all technical transitions-Writing up service requests and purchasing software and hardware for a given program or project.-Coordinating with software librarian to insure all current software licenses are updated and availableBasic Qualifications:Demonstrated strategic and tactical planning skills. Broad-based IT knowledge and skillset with focus on project management skills. Strong, demonstrated, professional verbal and written communications skills with examples. Experience with IT infrastructures in support of classified programs. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $57,800 - $108,900.
