Job Description

With more than 80 years of experience engineering science and technology solutions to support national security, HII, Mission Technologies supports clients with big ideas and real solutions. Seeking to fill a System Administrator II position to support our DANS team in our San Antonio, TX location working with Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs) to sustain the deployable Cyberspace Vulnerability Assessment-Hunter (CVA-H) platforms and administration of operational network systems to support the program.

Essential Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: • Prepares documentation from information obtained from customers using accepted guidelines such as DITSCAP and Risk Management Framework (RMF). • Secures and installs latest system images/configurations and installs security tools as required. • Rebuild CVA-H kits/ platforms and re-image systems pre and post-operations as required. • Conducts system security assessments and develops solutions to lessen identified risks. • Provides information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new security requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience. • Four or more years' experience maintaining security posture of the customer's computer environments, including cloud environments. • Five or more years' experience supporting and administrating network devices with knowledge of routing and switching. • Support and maintain Cross Domain Solution and Mobile Interceptor Platform. Sustain readiness for application related to CVA-H weapon system. • Practice cyber security posture on documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures). • Record documentation, procedures and working instructions in accordance with federal and departmental guidelines. • Participates in investigations into problematic activity and assists with plans for appropriate resolution. • Properly safeguard, control and label all classified and sensitive media. • System image support, Network and Application support, License management and plans. • Experience with security features and/or vulnerability analysis of various operating systems as defined by Intelligence agencies, NIST, DISA (STIGs) and USCYBERCOM. • DoDl 8570.01-M IAT Level-II Compliant Certification (e.g. Security+ or equivalent). • Collaborating with program and engineering disciplines and ensuring cybersecurity solution alternatives. • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Training with understanding of fundamental concepts. • Other Duties as assigned. • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

CERTIFICATIONS • IAT Level II DoD 8140 compliant (e.g. Security+, CCNA Security, or equivalent).

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with IT and/or network and system security administration including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for MS Windows, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. • Experience with information security toolset including anti-virus, Vulnerability Assessment, HIDS/ NIDS, host-based or endpoint security solutions, Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and centralized auditing tools. • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. • Familiar with NIST RMF as described in NIST Special Publication 800-53. • Familiar with Program Protection Plan (PPP) required by DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 5200.39 • Security related Network (e.g., Cisco) and Operating Systems (e.g., Linux, Windows, Solaris) certification or training. • Knowledge of Agile / DevOps techniques. • Experience with multi-level security. • Dell Server networking and administration experience.
