Job Description:

Position Summary

The Document, Content and Records Services (DCRS) organization provides a comprehensive enterprise technology platform for managing the digital document lifecycle for bank documents and checks. This includes composing a document, capturing document, providing a storage repository and ability to search, retrieve and view the document. We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer / Application Support professional to help support multiple applications on UNIX and MuleSoft platforms. As a Systems Engineer , you should be able to independently navigate, triage, analyze and resolve issues on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 servers.

Responsibilities:

·Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include Linux Red Hat technical support, systems programming and platform capabilities.

·Handle complex Linux engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities.

·Assist in day to day installation, governance/compliance remediation, maintenance, unplanned outages and issue resolution work.

·Handle ad-hoc analytical tasks and activities.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar related degree.
  • Highly proficient in Linux Red Hat (RHEL 7).
  • Experience in UNIX commands.
  • Navigating UNIX servers.
  • Experience with UNIX OS troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SSL - certificates, ciphers, encryption methods.
  • Experience with file transfer technologies: Network Data Mover (NDM), SFTP.
  • Experience with the following other technologies: Data Transmission Serves (DTS), Splunk, PingAccess, AppDynamics, Sitescope, BigIP/LTM, IaaS logging/reporting, ActiveMQ,
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot application logs using a variety of UNIX commands.
  • Strong coordination skills. Must be able to work with technology partners in a wide range of engagements.

Desired Skills
  • Experience with Tomcat and Apache.
  • Expertise writing Linux shell scripts in Bash Shell or KSH.
  • Experience with databases (e.g. Oracle) and SQL.
  • Experience creating technical documentations (e.g. system documents, system diagrams, process documents, operational documents).
  • Experience with the Horizon (SDM) tools.
  • Some MuleSoft experience.
