System/Product Analyst

Position Description CGI has an immediate need for a System/Product Analyst to join our financial services team in one of several of our CGI offsite and Onshore Delivery Center locations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. CGI is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven System/Product Analyst to support product transformation effort in secondary mortgage industry. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent system analysis, data analysis and product management background, has Agile experience, and experience on Front End of mortgage business in loan origination or loan delivery business process. Candidates must have a willingness to understand existing processes and systems, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. They should be able to build relationships, actively participate in team work, and understand the dynamics and critical nature of the business. This is also a great opportunity to perform proxy role for product owner.

Your future duties and responsibilities• Support the product development team to create a strong end product• Perform Data Analysis and be able to summarize findings to team based on the Analysis.• Perform system analysis and write user stories• Nurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problems• Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals• Extract and retrieve information and data sets to improve upon software• Work closely with the scrum team throughout the development process• Works well under pressure, handling projects that have real-time high dependency and challenging business deadlines.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• 6+ years of related experience• Skilled in system analysis• Strong in data analysis (this role doesn't need any background in BigData)• Experience working in Agile environment, preferably SAFe• Knowledge of SQL• Strong technology background• Experience with JIRA and writing user stories• Proactive, ability to ask probing questions and act with sense of urgency• Product management and product development experience• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent attention to detail

Desired Skillset• GSE experience• Experience on Front End of mortgage business in loan origination or loan delivery business process.• AWS exposure, experience with product management for applications deployed on AWS

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTBachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
