Systems Administrator in San Antonio, TX. or Findlay, OH. This is a long-term contract opportunity with probability of extensions. In addition to competitive pay, TCI provides all our Consultants with Comprehensive Medical/Dental Insurance, 401k, Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability benefits.Please note that this position requires ship or Permanent Residence.SUMMARYThe Systems Administrator will be working as part of a team supporting Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure for Midstream businesses. IT technologies primarily include Windows, VMware, and Cisco. Additionally, technologies include DCS, SCADA, PLC, Wonderware, DeltaV, & iFix. Project work, developing strategy, business-as-usual tasks, compliance, and problem resolution are all part of the day-to-day role.RESPONSIBILITIES- Windows server administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience working from and managing a ticketing system.
- Supporting virtualized environments.
- Maintaining networking and firewall concepts.
- Ability to review, update, and implement policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ability to clearly communicate task status with clients, team members, and supervision.
- Availability for rotational off-hour duties to support 24 x 7 Operations.
- Up to 25% possible travel depending on terminal projects.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Systems Administration.
- Strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage Cisco environment.
- Solid understanding of Industrial Control Systems.
- Solid understanding of VMware.
- Previous experience in ICS/DCS/SCADA applications such as DeltaV, Wonderware, and iFix is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT is strongly preferred.
- Certifications are a plus but not required.
