Cyber, Electronic Warfare, and Space (CEW&S) is looking to hire a System Integration Lab (SIL) System Administrator position to support our DANS team in our San Antonio, TX location. This position is responsible for working with developers, test engineers, network engineers, and the SIL team to sustain development, integration, and test information systems and networks under general supervision

Essential Job Responsibilities

Requirements • Determines system and security requirements • Conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments • Implement security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment • Perform equipment and software installation and calibration • Verifies security of systems by using STIGs and ACAS • Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs. • Responsible for the development, implementation, and integration of DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within computing, network, and enclave environments. • Ensure that the architecture and design of the development and operational systems are functional and secure. This includes designs for a program of record systems and special-purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity • Test and implement complex VMWare environments to include creating data centers, clusters, distributed switches, configuring HA and FT, and vSAN • Troubleshoot issues that arise in vCenter / ESXi with minimal downtime to the customer • Update architectural documentation and drawings. Strong understanding of VMWare and all associated tools/features (i.e., vSAN, HA, FT, etc.) • Strong understanding of Windows domain environment and administration (i.e., Domain Controllers, Certificate Authorities, DNS, DHCP, etc.) • Strong troubleshooting skills • Experience with Windows Deployment Services (WDS) • Experience with Windows Server Update Service (WSUS) • Experience operating a virtual environment • Experience with VMWare (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) • Experience with Linux (RHEL and Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 • Experience with TCP/IP • Experience working with stakeholders to analyze systems requirements • Experience applying NIST standards and STIGs to secure systems configurations • Familiarization with implementing systems solutions for cloud and hybrid applications • Familiar with out-of-band management for servers • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• BS with 5 years of experience, or equivalent work experience, MS with 2-3 years relevant experience, or HS equivalent with 8+ years of experience. At least 3 years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer systems administration.

Certifications • Certification 8570/8140 IAT II (required within 6 months) • Preferred Certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Server Certifications Security Clearance • Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI Eligibility

Preferred Requirements

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) • Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSE, MCSA) • CompTIA Security+ (Security+) • Experience with Security Onion • Experience implementing, and managing VPNs, and firewalls • Experience with COTS or open-source Network Security Monitoring Solutions or the Air Force's Cyber Vulnerability and Hunt Weapons System
