- Solely Responsible for work, solutions, and responsibilities within given projects and tasks
- Communicate project status, activities and KPI’s to internal and external partners
- Help Build and Maintain internal and customer systems for maximum reliability
- Engineering technology solutions for various project/operational needs of the organization.
- Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with customer requests, standards and project/operational requirements.
- Install and configure systems such as accounting, collaboration or other business software.
- Help develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Contribute to and maintain internal and customer system standards.
- Identify opportunities for effective external hosting of core business applications to provide scalable systems capable of supporting geographically diverse workforce.
- Provide user support, as needed. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with customer.
- Assist customers to maintain their network infrastructure including all servers, firewalls, switches, and other equipment
- Assist customers to Secure enterprise networks by developing access, monitoring, and control, including comprehensive documentation when needed.
- Keep up to date with the latest skills, procedures, systems, and security
- Interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issues
- VMware VCP-DCV preferred
- Experience with Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, SCVMM preferred
- Working knowledge of Azure & Office365
- MCSE preferred, or strong knowledge of Microsoft Server Architecture to includeActive Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- Microsoft Exchange on premise and O365 migration and management experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of routing and switching
- Strong understanding of traditional infrastructure (Network, Compute, Storage)
- Knowledge/Implementation of Enterprise Storage
- Knowledge of composable infrastructure (ex: HPE Synergy platform)
- Strong prioritization skills are necessary
- Provide on-call and weekend support one week per month
- Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice
- Occasional travel required to remote customer sites and offices, or to receive training
