- Lead and manage Tableau projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, scope, and budget.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data visualization and reporting requirements.
- Work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and other teams to gather data from various sources and ensure its integration into Tableau.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, and develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify risks, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations, and oversee user acceptance testing.
- Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the adoption and effective utilization of Tableau within the organization.
- Stay updated with Tableau software updates, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate or Tableau Server Qualified Associate, are a plus.
- Proven experience as a project manager, preferably with experience in Tableau projects or data visualization initiatives.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in Tableau software, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
- Familiarity with data visualization concepts, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
- Excellent project management skills, including project planning, resource management, and risk mitigation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into Tableau solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SQL and data manipulation languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies, such as Power BI or QlikView, is beneficial.
