Job Description:Talend SE will work on implementing data pipelines to make data available in the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) from systems of records and operational data stores. The Talend SE will get to work on best-in class cloud technologies (Azure, Snowflake, Fivetran, Talend Cloud etc.)Along with making data available in the EDW, the Talend SE will work with Business and Data Analysts to implement data models and calculate key business KPIs for the use of the wider business for reporting and analytics.The Talend SE will have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills by working on assignments as part of an Agile Team guided by more senior developers and Architects. They should be delivery focused and driven to problem solution

Essential Job Functions:Engineer Data pipelines from various sources (on-prem, Cloud, APIs)Enterprise Data Lake/ Warehouse DevelopmentSchedule and Monitor Batch and near Realtime data pipelinesUnit testing and troubleshootingUnderstanding technical design and executing technical requirementsSupporting day to day BI operational tasks

Required skills
  • 10+ Yrs of overall Data Integration experience with 4+ experience in Snowflake.
  • Understanding of dimensional and relational modeling.
  • Understanding of BI/DW development methodologies.
  • Experience with Snowflake cloud data platform including but not limited to hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities like SnowSQL, Snow Pipe,
  • Experience with data loading using Azure Data Factory (ADF) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with Python/JavaScript or other scripting language

Preferred Skills:Understanding of cloud technologies in Azure, Talend Cloud etc.Experience in a SaaS environments – Snowflake Ecosystem Tools, Technology Partner OfferingsKnowledge of BI tools - Power BI, TableauKnowledge of DevOps tools - Github, Jenkins, Atlassian Tools, VS Code, AirflowKnowledge of MDM tools - Reltio, Riversand etcCustomer 360 development experience in large enterprise
