A career in our Tax Reporting and Strategy practice, within Innovation services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients' tax departments redesign, redefine, and redeploy tax to be a strategic asset across the enterprise. You'll focus on assisting clients incorporate increased automation in the tax reporting process, increase analytic capabilities through data integration, and create solid internal controls that will enable the Tax function to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organisational decision making.

Our team helps our clients expand the tax role to include research, analytics, and technologies to improve how their organisation collaborates and performs. You'll focus on enhancing the tax reporting process by incorporating increased automation, integrating quality data, developing analytic capabilities, and utilising technology to deliver better quality output in less time.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates some knowledge of tax-related data analytics including supporting tax strategy in tax functions of provisions and compliance. Demonstrates some knowledge of Transfer Pricing and Tax Depreciation/Fixed Assets. Demonstrates some knowledge of implementing ERP Systems, such as SAP and Oracle. Demonstrates some knowledge of tax-related applications such as OneSource and Corptax. Demonstrates some knowledge of MS Project, MS Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel. Demonstrates some knowledge of provision and compliance processes. Some knowledge of indirect tax application space (e.g. Vertex, Sabrix).

Demonstrates some proven ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communications, emphasizing a client service orientation to leverage creative problem-solving skills, execute various deliverables simultaneously as both a team member and independently and research deliver results of pertinent client, industry and technical matters. Demonstrates self-motivation and a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and career development. Demonstrates some experience in consulting with clients in full life cycle of project phases to contribute as a functional team member including strategy, requirements through implementation. Demonstrates some abilities in supporting an ERP engagement, including defining ERP tax integration needs, configuring document management and automated workflow platforms, and assessing tax point solution software. Demonstrates some experience of successfully working with corporate tax departments and tax data in data management projects.

As a tax technical professional, experience researching business and industry trends to develop a point of view to leverage in assisting with proposals.

Exposure with automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to: - innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions;

- working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.
