Houston, Texas Downtown area is searching for several Technical Business Analysts who can drive achieve business outcomes, has an eye for detail, and exceptional communication skills to be an integral part of this company’s software development team.Multiple PositionsThe Technical Business Analyst and the team will be building this company’s next generation finance systems, transforming their platform and processes, and delivering trusted, timely data. This company is embarking on an ambitious programmer of work to modernize their existing product offering and developing their new best of breed capabilities.The Technical Business Analyst will work in an agile environment, helping to define and manage the backlog, work with stakeholders to understand and document the outcomes the company is aiming for, and the business and functional requirements needed to achieve them. The Technical Business Analyst will analyze data sources to map and source data inputs, and build data models, work with the teams to acquire, test and validate, and transform new data and continuously identifying opportunities to improve.Required Technical Expertise:- Prior experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, Software Developer, or related roles in the Financial Services Industry.
- Financial markets, including financial products
- Front to back system flows and product lifecycles
- Data modelling and analysis
- Experienced developing in SQL and Python
- Commodities and Global Markets experience focusing on Gas and the Power markets
- Post trade life cycle workflows and risk control
- AWS, relational and NoSQL databases
- Object oriented programming
