Schwab Technology Services needs a Technical Director within our Identity and Access Management group of Schwab Cybersecurity Services. This person will be a key technical lead and a member of a diversified team of security professionals. The individual must have expertise in IAM, SSO, Federation and MFA technologies and tools. What you are good at- Performs the most highly complex security system needs assessments using mastery of domain knowledge and extensive business experience
- Leads the largest cross-organizational projects and programs with the highest complexity and visibility
- Designs, evaluates, and selects product, process and service improvements for security architecture based on thorough understanding of business needs and industry trends
- Communicates highly complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
- Evaluates, develops, and selects standards, tools, and knowledge requirements for security architecture skill and career development
- 10+ years of experience with the IAM engineering area with strong foundational skills
- Skilled in security architecture and complex integrations
- Continually sought out by others for guidance on a wide range of technical issues
- Proactively detects coaching opportunities and follows through using an effective coaching process
- Internally recognized leading expert in profession, and acknowledged leader in strategic value creation
- Strategizes increased integration of cross-functional capabilities to pursue innovation and address short-and long-term business objectives
- Analytical: Monitors industry-wide cybersecurity requirements for a variety of networks and devices and requires ingenuity and creative thinking to resolve and prevent intrusion incidents in complicated and/or novel situations
- Influences the opinions and decision-making of others internally at the executive level and externally with network and security customers
- Collaborates with peers, business leaders, account leaders and internal and external partners
- Serves as an industry leader and expert and creates formal networks with key decision makers
- Typically interacts with high-level individual contributors, managers, directors, VP's, SVPs
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field is preferred
- CISSP Certified preferred
