Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company, in their search for a

Technical Engineer/DevOps Engineer. This is a Long-Term Contract opportunity based out of San Antonio, TX. The role is responsible for assisting our product teams in their work to build, test, and deploy application changes to both prem and cloud infrastructures.Here is the set of skills, experiences, and competencies we’d be looking for in the ideal candidate. Note we’re seeking someone with a minimum of 3-5 years of this kind of experience.

Qualifications:
  • Possesses a generalist experience and view of technology
  • Experience and understanding regarding:
    • Working in a regulated environment
    • Full software development lifecycle including software testing, development, and environment setup
    • Legacy and modern technology
    • Enterprise access management (e.g., ITAM concepts)
    • ITIL and understanding the nuances of its compared to DevOps
    • Infrastructure as code and applying it
    • Agile, SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, Release Trains, Release Train Engineers, etc
  • Technical experience with:
    • Containers (Docker)
    • AWS
    • Authorization/Authentication
    • OKTA
    • Certificates
    • Networks, TCP/IP
    • HTTP/HTTPS
    • REST
    • SOAP
    • JAVA
    • .NET Framework / Core
    • Python
    • Kafka
    • GraphQL
    • Monitoring and Resiliency
    • Splunk / Dynatrace
    • Databases
    • Terraform
    • Angular / React / Vue
    • PowerShell
    • Atlassian Suite - JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
    • Web Server (e.g., IIS, Tomcat, NodeJS)
    • Administration and configuration experience of Windows and Linux servers
  • Demonstrated effective:
