Tittle: Senior Business Analyst Location: Dallas, Tx Duration: Full Time Job Overview In this position, you will act as a bridge between business problems and technology solutions. You will work as a liaison between the business units and IT department's Application team by identifying customer needs and translating those needs into workable solutions. In this position, you will

  • Routinely perform cross-functional responsibilities to analyze business challenges, data problems, process inefficiencies.
  • Support the team to define business requirements, identify and recommend solutions to those problems.
  • Use SQL Server, Visual Studio and other development tools to support the development team and fulfill Ad-Hoc request.
  • Be responsible to manage team backlog, own the prioritization process and manage key initiatives for scope, schedule, resource allocations and risks.
Apply process improvement methods by effectively organizing and utilizing organizational assets and the application of best practices.   • Develop functional requirements for new and existing systems, data loads, jobs and processes.
  • Translate information requests from internal customers involving ambiguity into actionable tasks for developers.
  • Gather and document business requirements, systems flow, data flow, data dependencies and functional design.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, solution analysis, project kickoffs, standups and status meetings.
  • Manage inbound request queue, prioritize requests, and communicate status with stakeholders.
  • Perform QA on applications, processes and reports that have been built by developers.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis by creating ad-hoc reports/queries using SQL.
  • Actively manage Kanban boards, sprints, epics, stories and other issues assign to the team
  • Create and manage project plans for long running initiatives and coordinate with team day to day progress.
  • Track and report work status for team, people assignments and work completion.
  • Provide project status reports and executive summaries as required.
  • Own and manage the change management and release management process.
  • Supports IT team governance, audit and controls process.
  • Own data team issue management, client implementations and coordination.
  • Manage and govern team data documentation of solution, requirements, specification, credentials and processes
  • Special projects as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • Has between 5 - 8 years of proven working experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Product Owner.
  • Experience in Healthcare Industry is preferred.
  • Technical expertise regarding requirements gathering, process engineering, technical documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies and related SDLC concepts (Scrum, SAFe, XP, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and related tools.
  • Experience working with Agile Project Management tools (JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience of working teams developing software solution with enterprise technologies (.NET, Visual Studio, JavaScript etc.), databases (SQL, PostgreSQL etc.) and data tools (ETL frameworks, SSIS, or SSRS).
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete a variety of tasks accurately with high attention to detail and creativity.
  • Display strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; communicates effectively with all levels of leadership and staff. Presents to executive sponsors occasionally.
  • Develop, manage and maintain customer relationships at all organizational levels
  • SAFe or PMP certification, preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
