We have on opening for a network support / technology consultant in retail/msp environment. Must understand computer software, hardware and networks; be highly professional and capable of communicating with team members and clients. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Some weekend hours and overtime may be required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing desktop, telephone, network and server support
Installing, upgrading and monitoring software and hardware
Maintaining operating systems, security tools, business applications, email, web-servers, laptops and desktop PCs
Troubleshooting problems reported by external customers
Designing and deploying networks; maintaining network servers such as file servers, FTP sites and VPN gateways
Coordinating with other technicians for the installation, repair, upgrade and maintenance of off-site servers
Administering servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
Qualifications:
2+ years of previous experience working with computers (Required)
Windows 7, Windows 10 Experience (Required)
Hardware Trouble Shooting Experience for Desktops & Servers
Experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems 2008-2021
Experience with SonicWall firewalls
Must be proficient in reading and writing English
Must have the ability to legally work in the United States
