Role: Test Analyst Location - Atlanta GA, Dallas TX and Bellevue WA (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Job Description The ideal candidate will be able to independently manage multiple deliverables and priorities in a fast-paced environment and quickly develop a clear understanding of the accounting and business needs of the back-office business teams. They must be able to communicate timely and effectively project status and provide clear recommendations for test case consolidation and prioritization. Candidate will need to create and foster working relationships to engage and evolve back office involvement in the test function and will have excellent communication and project management skills. Job Duties

  • 9+ years in Quality Assurance / Testing covering Telecom Domain
  • Relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting or Risk Management (Credit, Fraud, Controls) roles, project execution, or technology empowering business through robust technology improvements. Ideal resources will have all
  • Experience in Report Testing, Power BI, SAP BI 7.X, Business Objects, Tableau, Teradata (EDW)
  • Strong in MS SQL (basic and Advance), write SQL queries using Joins and able to validate data using it
  • Strong experience in MS Excel-Vlook Up, Pivot & functions.
  • Discuss, Review and Capture technical requirements from different cross functional teams.
  • Conducted extensive UAT testing on all the reports.
  • Mapped the data from source to target database and ensured uninterrupted data transfer.
  • Creating test scripts based on the requirements and run the scripts in SIT environment.
  • Prepare maintain and execute regression test scripts to validate and confirm the new changes.
  • Provided resolution to performance problems of dashboards deployed on tableau server using out of the box performance
Good to have
  • Testing covering Telecom Domain, SAP - ERP SD, MM, PDM, ECC
  • Experience in Amdocs, and or Ericson billing system
  • 5+ Years of experience in above areas.
General Responsibilities and Skillset
  • Support new projects and programs - assessing impact to Back Office work streams and quickly assimilate the project knowledge and design direction.
  • Represent the Back-Office organizations on projects and programs, working closely with and knowing when to involve the business SMEs.
  • Facilitate requirement sessions, provide requirements, provide guidance on creating appropriate requirements, and provide appropriate success criteria.
  • Participate in design sessions and review technical documentation.
  • Create, document, and approve User Acceptance Test cases, scenarios, and plans. Communicate testing needs with appropriate resources, and share results with work streams
  • Understand use of defect management tools such as HP QC, ALM
  • Able to lead a team of QA resources
  • Provide recommendations on when to trade off functionality, and when not to trade off, and communicate to multiple audiences.
  • Communicate and provide options from the project for impacts to policies and procedures that impact accounting or risk management organizations.
  • Communicate regularly to business partners about the impacts of upcoming changes and project deadlines.
  • Manage risks, issues, and escalate as appropriate.
  • Create process flows for future Back Office and system processes, as well as training material for new systems.
  • Provide representation on financial and risk management processes, transactional flows, and policy and controls to the project.
  • Strong advocacy for back office business team needs.
  • Manage relationships and communications with process owners in back office.
  • Work with the project and program leadership to ensure delivery of the project requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate methods and procedures are in place for successful transition of the project to production operations.
Education, Minimum Required
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Bachelor's degree in IT in addition to accounting or finance, preferred but not required
  • Master's degree, preferred but not required
