2 POSITIONS:1 technical1 functional Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (Remote Monday and Friday) Technical Business Analyst - Openlink Endur specialist Don't need experience with implementations but it would be helpful2-3 steps in interview process, depending on availability of the team; Last round onsitelocated in Downtown Houston 77002 The Business Analyst will work as a member of the IT team in North America providing day to day direction and leadership across the analytical community, as well as acting as a recognized subject matter expert regarding the Energy industry and the applications used within the company. The candidate will play a key role in supporting the Trading business users, be expected to interface with various groups within the company, and manage projects from inception to completion and be an integral part of the implementation. Further responsibilities may include:

  • Identify issues and opportunities to proactively help deliver value added solutions to the business
  • Analyze requirements and data from various groups within the company and transform into improved solutions
  • Prepare cost estimates and project timelines for completing recommended solutions
  • Own technical approach, plan and delivery for changes of all sizes
  • Actively identify, report, promote, own and implement system improvement ideas
  • Play a key role in building a partnership with the business and key stakeholders
  • Act as a technical leader by utilising expert knowledge and understanding of Trading applications and technologies to provide a tactical and strategic vision aligned with other company teams
  • Experience in the Energy Trading industry
  • Must have extensive experience working with ION Openlink Endur; ideally experience with other Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems such as Triple Point Commodity XL, as well
  • Demonstratable knowledge of Trading, Scheduling, Settlements, MTM, Exposure and PNL reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of a variety of development techniques and standards, including but not limited to: ITIL processes, Project Management, and Agile Project Management/Development methods
  • Have successfully worked on a broad range of functional systems in one or more of the following areas: SQL Databases, Data Warehouses, client/server development in C#, .NET, HTML, Javascript, Python, Kafka, Power BI, Azure
  • Experience with developing, forecasting and working within budgets
