Trailer Repair Technician

JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Title: Trailer Repair TechnicianDepartment: MaintenanceLocation: Mt. Pleasant, TX JBS CarriersReports to: Shop ForemanESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform trailer DOT inspections.

Perform preventative maintenance.

Repair all structural aspects of trailers – i.e landing gear, side walls, cross members etc.

Replace trailer clutches, brakes, and tires as necessary.

Other general trailer duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have welding and or have adequate trade school training and experience.

Knowledge in refrigeration is a bonus.

Must be a team player, hardworking, reliable and able to work a flexible schedule.

Must have adequate computer skills to perform duties assigned.

Must have proper tools to perform the job.

Base salary range of $19.50 per hour
