Exciting, remote opportunity for one of our innovative clients as a Training Specialist. You will work with identified partners to update and distribute course materials to participants, ensure the administration around course delivery is organized, and that training events are clearly communicated to participants and stakeholders. Additionally, this role will facilitate collaboration across Field Force Training, Leadership Development and Field Support Operations to ensure training value is understood, obtained, and sustained. The Training Specialist will be an ambassador for establishing a brand for service. You will influence a more consistent and easier client experience through thoughtful development and delivery of training. In addition, you will: perform as producer for all service training courses; demonstrate instructional design proficiency to help develop and enhance training curriculums; administer training components (surveys, invites, mailings, data collection, etc.); ensure training materials are migrated to and available on the First Command Learning Management System; create and drive Moving to Mastery activities (quality, cohort programs, colloquies, etc.); ensure a standardized quality framework approach for the service organization; monitor and track results of training, provide insights to leadership; make recommendations to service and support leaders on appropriate metrics for training; provide content oversight and approval through a governance process; participate in and own Agile activities as needed-representing Service & Support; contribute to the creation and completion of the knowledge management epic; and, stay current and educated on any trends, innovations, and applications within the financial service industry. Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience using an instructional design methodology. Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design is essential. Familiarity with the development and delivery of modularized Microlearning and Just-in-time training is highly desirable. Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are a must. Experience with Storyline 360, Articulate 360 and Adobe Suite preferred. Strong preference for experience working and developing in an Agile environment. Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and proven ability to work independently and in teams is needed. Must have excellent verbal communication skills, including active listening skills, and excellent written communication skills, including superior editing skills and the ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. Adaptability to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment of limited resources and ever-changing needs and missions needed. Proficiency in e-Learning authoring tool, Learning Management system, and other tools used in creation and maintenance of training resources is required. Completion of advanced training in instructional design and/or e-learning is strongly preferred; Training/Certification in Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI) or a comparable instructional design methodology preferred.
