Manage and coordinate transportation operation by tracking freight from origin to destinationCommunicate closely with customers to ensure smooth operation without issues and service satisfactionProactively identify and assess a solution to cost incurrence such as demurrage, detention and work for smooth resolution to protect company and customersMonitor carrier performance continually and evaluate, with feedback provided on a routine basisCommunicate with carriers & associated vendors on a frequent and consistent basisProcess container returns, bobtail decisions related to overall logistics operation for proper handling of businessOther responsibilities as required by the Site Manager
