OverviewLocated just off Highway 59 south, the 66-bed hospital in Livingston provides more than 60,000 patient services each year, with half of those services being offered in the Level 4 Trauma-Designated Emergency Department. Services offered include, Orthopedic care, Women’s Services, and a state-of-the-art Sleep Center. Works both independently and in collaboration with the trauma program medical director, as well as, other members of the health care and leadership teams. Completes statistical data, facilitates performance improvement activities, reports pertinent findings to respective committees. Self-directed and self-motivating, plans and conducts work with minimal direction, and reports the progress of work to the Emergency Department Director. Acts as a resource and provides information/education to unit staff and the community. Supports the organization’s mission, vision, and core values.QualificationsEducation Level
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
Licensure/Certification
Current Texas RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (within 60 days of hire/transfer)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS or ENPC) (within 60 days of hire/transfer)
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) (within 18 months of hire/transfer)

Experience
Two years of Trauma experience
