This is a remote work opportunity.Responsibilities:

Apply a thorough understanding of travel security to conduct geopolitical and security environment risk analysis in support of domestic and international business travel

Consult and provide security guidance to all KPMG personnel before, during, and after business travel with a heightened level of attention to business travelers to high-risk international destinations

Develop policies and procedures to align the program with security industry best practices and standards (i.e., ISO 31030) as appropriate based on firm risk tolerance and affordability

Create risk framework and implement processes to support specialized audiences in conjunction with other firm accountable stakeholders; develop and maintain appropriate learning and awareness offerings for general and specific sub audiences of KPMG business travelers

Implement and oversee supplier relationship lifecycle of contracted external travel security vendors and work closely with Firm Security leadership overseeing event security and close protection service offerings.

Maintain a communication methodology to communicate with and perform welfare checks as appropriate with KPMG personnel on business travel; perform security subject matter expertise reviews travel related program informing KPMG Travel of hotels, airlines, or other ground transportation risks

Qualifications:

Minimum five years of recent experience managing global travel security related programming in the public or private sector

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

Global situational awareness and a strong understanding of geopolitics, international security, and current affairs

Substantial analytical and problem-solving experience combined with the flexibility to change priorities and respond quickly according to circumstances

Strong verbal/written communication skills, including those required for presentations on complex issues, selling ideas, gaining cooperation, influencing, and negotiating

Proactive in identifying problem areas and innovative in developing new systems and implementing improved procedures; confident operating in a matrixed organization and working cross-functionally with other leaders and teams on traveler security events/programs; US Citizenship is required
