Your Opportunity

The Liquidity and Funding Management group within Treasury handles liquidity and funding planning across the corporation and its subsidiaries, including our bank and broker-dealers. We monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory ratios including the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and associated public disclosures, Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), FR 2052a Liquidity Monitoring Report. We also develop tools to assist our business partners in analyzing the liquidity impacts of business decisions. We work with our second line partners to assist in the development of robust contingency liquidity analyses and plans to help identify emerging risks. This group is responsible for the design of company liquidity management policies, ensuring compliance at all times, and advancing issues to senior management as needed. We work with internal and external partners on multiple ongoing examinations and audits of liquidity practices. This is an individual contributor role within the Liquidity Regulatory Reporting team.

What you are good at

  • Create business requirement documents for the functional (regulatory and/or business rules) and non-functional (data handling, governance) capabilities needed for Liquidity Risk Management.
  • Assist with the daily validation and analysis of LCR, NSFR and FR2052a reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform daily on-time regulatory submissions of the FR 2052a reports.
  • Maintaining internal procedures and documentation for liquidity reporting.
  • Support testing teams in preparing test scripts and validate QA and UAT results.
  • Create SQL queries to analyze small to large sets of data and optimize as needed.
  • Analyze and interpret data from different sources like databases and spreadsheets and make recommendations for technical solutions and automation.
  • Perform data analysis and defect identification. Work with technology partners to uncover data discrepancies, and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure closure.
  • Act as treasury liaison in projects for developing liquidity monitoring tools.
  • Clearly document and present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Assess the impact of regulatory changes and perform gap analysis
  • Contribute to ad hoc analytical projects and reporting, primarily related to liquidity.

What you have

  • Experience with data analysis and data interpretation, including experience with very large data sets;
  • Ability to use SQL to extract information from various applications and systems and to identify and research anomalies;
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, problem resolution skills
  • Ability to cope with uncertainty and adapt to change;
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into discrete quantifiable components;
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting (FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR), is a plus;
  • Bachelor's degree required;
  • 5+ years of related work experience in a financial organization;
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting, particularly in the bank and broker-dealer space;
  • Strong SQL and Excel Skills;
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Alteryx is a plus;
  • Experience with AxiomSL ControllerView is a plus;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple, changing priorities;
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
