Truck Driver

FULL-TIME

$26.34/hr

Key Responsibilities:

This position is mainly to do a bale route with a TTFU and service stores, this means that the driver must know how to drive a Tractor hauling a Flatbed an a Prowler/Forklift and use the Prowler to load Cardboard bales on the flatbed from the stores.

 Backfill other Driving positions as needed- ability to jump in and drive Box Van, Roll On-Roll Off,

TTFU, Semi must understand Van/truck specifications and account needs/details.

 Completes required routing through the use of all approved transportation vehicles (Box Van, Roll

On-Roll Off, TTFU, Semi)

 Complete pre-trip inspection report (or VCR)

 Follow all Federal, State, and local D.O.T regulations

 Follow all posted speed limits

 Ensure company cell phone(s) are turned on and are operational

 Obtain daily work schedule/tickets

 Check with dispatcher to determine if any yard work is needed

 Ensure timely pickups for scheduled customers

 Ensure truck is locked when not in use

 Ensure trailers are locked at all times

 Post trip inspection reports at end of shift

 Complete and submit DOT vehicle operating logs at end of shift, or before next tour of duty

 Complete daily housekeeping, cleaning and trash removal from cab of truck at the end of every shift

 Check in with dispatcher prior to leaving for the day

 Other duties as assigned

Training/Registration/License/Certification Requirement

 Valid License with CDL class A certification

 Medically certified

 Drug and Alcohol training

 Air Brakes certification

Shift start: 4:00PM Shift length: 8 hours Monday - Friday, some weekends may be required
