Job: UI Developer Location: Coppell, TX or Jersey City(remote for now) Term: 6 month+ contract (potential to convert) Interview Process: 30 min first round Webex, then 2 hour live-coding/panel interview Qualifications:· Functional-based software development experience (Scala or React.js preferred).· Web/mobile application development experience.· Experience working with two or more of the following: Unix/Linux environments, event-driven systems, transaction processing systems, distributed and parallel systems, large software system development, security software development, public-cloud platforms.>>Functional-based software development experience required.Preferred Qualifications:· 2+ years of application delivery methodologies, including the ability to utilize these in order to deliver new or enhanced applications.· 3+ years of application design activities, tools and techniques; ability to utilize these to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.· Packaged application integration experience preferred, including knowledge of and the ability to implement packaged application software and integrate it with technology platforms.Technical Skills:· Web application development experience preferred.· Experience working with two or more of the following: Unix/Linux environments, event-driven systems, transaction processing systems, distributed and parallel systems, large software system development, security software development, public-cloud platforms.· Fluent in functional programming, object-oriented design, industry best practices, software patterns, and architecture principles.· Strong testing experience which includes developing test plans, automated test cases, and working with test frameworks.· Deep understanding of performance issues and multi-threaded development.· Experience with continuous integration tools and techniques, automating processes, and writing scripts using Python and other languages
