We are an integral part of an important mission we go to work every day with the knowledge and pride that our accomplishments make a difference.Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEW&S) is looking to hire a Unified Capabilities (UCAP) Technician to plan, prepare, and execute tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements, as well as to analyze and report test results. Support the Senior Test Engineer in leading tasks supporting Government Test Directors and the contractor task teams. Test Engineers will provide technical evaluation for contractor input, support all six phases of testing (notification, concept development, planning, execution, reporting and closeout), provide draft technical documentation, attend meetings to answer questions, provide technical information as required, take meeting notes, provide trip reports, support briefings, research solutions, establish test parameters, evaluate test results, document results, contribute to final reporting.Essential Job Responsibilities• Conduct research efforts to support tests and evaluations related to current cyber weapons systems, as directed. • Research, develop, document, and maintain methodologies that address the full spectrum of a test, and assessment: planning, execution, and reporting, as directed. • Test and evaluate cyber systems and products under the Unified Capabilities (UC) Approved Products List (APL) DISA process. • Provide expertise for UC protocols (VoIP, H.323, H.225, Q.391, and Session Initiation Protocol - SIP). • Provide information assurance (IA) and interoperability test services including test development, execution, analysis, and reporting in support of the UC APL test process. • Provide expertise and technical services in system and product certification and accreditation, analysis, and reporting of requirements in IA and Computer Network Defense (CND) • Maintain knowledge and expertise in legacy, current, and future protocols to include, but not limited to: Network protocols, including IPv4 and IPv6; and electrical signal interfaces to peripheral devices (USB - all versions, 422, 1553, etc.)Minimum QualificationsLead Test Engineer (LTE) or Ship Safety Officer (SSO) Certification and 2 years of relevant professional/exempt experience.- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification ( Level III Preferred)
