iSphere is seeking a University Relations Consultant in Houston, TX for a 12+ month compelling opportunity! Our direct client is looking for a University Relations Consultant. In this role, the consultant will be responsible for the recruitment of US university candidates for internships and full-time positions. Responsibilities include:• Shaping strategies and goals for university recruiting program• Develop, communicate, and implement university recruiting strategies, activities, and events; implement planned strategies during the recruiting cycle and upgrade the process when improvements are identified• Ensure campus recruiting contacts are qualified, committed, trained, and resourced to target schools, expos, and site visits• Train clients campus recruiters, so they are clear on roles, objectives, and strategies• Support allocation of annual university contributions• Collaborate closely with university foundation/development representatives at assigned universities to ensure that key relationships are established or maintained, clients reputation is upheld and access to targeted students is promoted by university faculty/staff• Ensure key relationships are in place at each university between lead recruiters, college partners and university departments and deans to identify and target select candidate pool for university pipeline sourcing• Provide guidance to and advise functional recruiting coordinators on appropriate strategies, processes, tools, and training to support university relations and recruiting activities• Coordinate outreach efforts and events aligned with diversity, equity, and inclusion• Coordinate US intern program planning and implementation of development events Required:• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Business or other related field• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)• 20% travel required to attend intern program, university engagement and recruiting events• Occasional after-hours work required for intern program, university engagement and recruiting events Preferred:• 5+ years of previous experience in recruiting/human resources or a business/technical role• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and partner collaboratively to achieve business result• Ability to communicate, interact and influence at executive levels• Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by courageously dealing with important problems, holding others accountable and standing up for what is right iSphere provides our potential consultants with direct access to top area clients and decision makers frequently resulting in a quicker interview and hiring process.
