Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

Vendor Management:

Cultivate enduring relationships with key vendors.

Assess vendor performance against established KPIs and quality standards.

Monitor vendor compliance with contractual agreements and terms.

Identify and proactively address risks associated with vendor relationships and external workforce.

Identify gaps in internal processes offering solutions to maximize Team efficiency.

Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Solutions Engineering, Project Managers, and other relevant departments to understand their needs.

Partner with internal teams for bid proposals and project workforce design.

Facilitate effective communication between the organization and vendors to align expectations.

Performance Enhancement:

Identify opportunities to improve vendor performance, talent quality, and service delivery.

Collaborate with vendors to implement process enhancements and cost-saving initiatives.

Issue Resolution:

Address and resolve issues or disputes that may arise during the vendor relationship, minimizing operational disruptions.

Implement corrective actions and preventive measures as needed.

Vendor Evaluation:

Conduct regular vendor evaluations, assessments, and audits to measure and enhance vendor performance.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to vendor management and external workforce labor.

Contract Oversight:

Review, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization, while focusing on cost savings.

Monitor contract compliance and facilitate renewals as necessary.

Data Analysis:

Gather and analyze data related to vendor performance, costs, and quality to support decision-making.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Proficient in managing through influence.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Familiarity with cost and accounting principles.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficient in analytical thinking and creative problem-solving.

Knowledge of vendor evaluation and performance measurement, as well as external workforce principles.

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance.

Proficiency in working both independently and as part of a team.

Education / Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or managed service provider environments.

3-5 years of experience leading in a team environment.

Proficiency in working both independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field is preferred.
