Vent Hood Technician

Guardian Care Maintenance is seeking motivated and reliable Vent Hood Technicians to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning and preventative maintenance services, helping restaurants stay safe, compliant, and running efficiently.

Position: Vent Hood Technician

Location: Midland /Odessa, TX (travel to surrounding areas required)

Schedule: Evening/Night Shifts (typically 10 PM – 6 AM)

Pay: Competitive hourly rate + growth opportunities

-$17.50 per hour / $7.50 for drive time

Responsibilities:

-Clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems (vent hoods, filters, ductwork, fans)

-Ensure compliance with NFPA-96 fire safety standards

-Safely operate pressure washers, ladders, and related equipment

-Assist with rig-down, setup, and jobsite cleanup

-Work with a team to complete jobs efficiently and on time

-Communicate with team leaders and follow safety protocols

Requirements:

-Ability to lift 75 lbs and work on ladders/heights

-Comfortable with night shift hours and travel to job sites

-Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

-Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment

-Valid driver’s license preferred (company vehicles provided for travel)

-Experience in vent hood cleaning, maintenance, or related trades a plus (will train the candidate)

-Must have a Valid DL and reliable transportation
