Because when we connect by understanding what makes people different, we can create unforgettable experiences that enrich lives.Job DescriptionThis role is out of our Plano, TX office and does require being office 3x/week.The VP, Director, Paid Search is responsible for managing the Paid Search team within their market on a global electronics client. This individual leads the strategic vision for their office and client base. This person is a lead for new business opportunities, provides industry expertise, thought leadership, and maintains training and development opportunities for the team.

Core Craft Skills

Provides strategic oversight across the client base.

Analyzes program results and uses them to create thought leadership pieces (e.g., POVs and case studies).

Consults on staffing levels and pricing with the Client Engagement team.

Client Exposure

Serves as client team lead on medium account managing $20 million in total paid search including a robust audience targeting strategy and some element of cross channel alignment.

Business Development

Responsible for upselling services.

Key participant in business development for media pitches

Business Operations

Engages Directors and Client Engagement teams to scale search marketing programs and introduce new opportunities.

Leads new business presentations.

Supports business development efforts with existing and new clients.

Team Leadership

Manages a regional team with three or more direct reports.

Manages Search team staff and workflow across client base.

Inspires and equips the team to deliver their best work.

Agency Leadership

Facilitates cross-agency innovation and collaboration.

Supports VP and/or Discipline Lead with practice vision; participates in third-party assessments and contributes to marketing collateral.

Facilitates internal training programs and best practices within search/social landscape.

Administers operational activities (performance management, recruiting, retention, knowledge sharing, etc.).

Qualifications

Milestones

Has successfully managed paid search strategy on several large enterprise accounts across a variety of industries.

Has managed teams up to 20 employees.

Has demonstrated the ability to administer operational activities (staffing, training/performance development, P& L management, etc.).

Has led search strategy on several high-profile pitches.

Has consistently demonstrated the ability to solve complex business problems.

Has developed a reputation for being a strong collaborative and strategic partner (by clients and the internal team).

Has regularly contributed valuable thought capital and participated in industry events.

Has maintained strong relationships with senior-level clients on key accounts.

Experience

12+ years search experience required.

4+ years in a supervisory role and a proven track record of leadership and coaching.
