Description Position Overview: The VP of IT will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our information technology systems and infrastructure. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in IT management, particularly in the retail sector. A key focus will be on the implementation and management of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to enhance our business processes and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:· Develop and execute the company's IT strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.· Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.· Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.· Manage the selection, deployment, and maintenance of ERP systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and integrate seamlessly with other systems.· Collaborate with other departments to identify technology solutions that improve business operations and customer experiences.· Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.· Oversee IT budget planning and management, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.· Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.· Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested.· Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and value in IT services and products.Requirements Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.· Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the retail industry.· Proven experience with ERP systems, including selection, implementation, and management.· Experience with Microsoft technology ecosystem, including Office 365 and Azure Active Directory· Knowledge of ITGC and SOX requirements – implications for controls in our environment.
