Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionA subsea manufacturing company in Northwest Houston has an immediate need for two Warehouse Associates to join their team. You will perform routine inventory, shipping/receiving functions, and material handling under direct supervision. Responsibilities include offloading trucks, placing equipment in inventory, transporting material to different departments, and shipping equipment out. You will operate both a stand-up and sit-down forklift to either pick material or transport it when needed. The material you will be handling includes larger oil and gas objects and pallets prepped for shipping, such as pipes, vessels, and compressors.Hard Skills

3-5+ years of warehouse experience

3+ years of inventory experience

3+ years of ERP system experience (PeopleSoft, an Oracle database)

Experience receiving raw materials

Soft Skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail

Good communication skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in HOUSTON, TX.Work EnvironmentYou will be working in an air-conditioned shop environment within the warehouse. The work environment is very fast-paced. The schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 5 PM (sometimes starting at 5 AM), with an hour lunch break.
