San Antonio Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to implement effective systems for materials management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct and coordinate activities of distribution warehouse

 Review transfer documentation for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities

 Assign workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and sorting incoming products and assembling customer

orders for delivery

 Insure all orders scheduled to ship are completed and processed

 Maintain operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of

merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory

 Coordinate activities of distribution warehouse with activities of deliveries, record control, and inventory replenishment to

ensure availability of products

 Direct reclamation of damaged merchandise to the corporate location

 Oversee daily preoperational inspections for the facility

 Assist Regulatory Inspectors during routine inspections

 Enforce the company’s safety program

 Immediately report any damages or deficiencies incurred to racks, walls, roof, doors or other equipment

 Monitor lunchroom activity to include employee lunch breaks

 Approve freight payments

 Prepare composite reports from individual reports of subordinates

 Communicate with Order Entry and Shipping regarding status of orders

 Insure products soon to expire are reported to the Food Safety Manager

 Assist Sales Managers with special projects including racks and product requests

 Insure Sales Managers are informed when racks, shelves, and seasonal products are below stock levels

 Interact with Sales Managers to devise a plan for low stock level product and how they will be dispersed among distributors

 Interact with Distributors to answer questions regarding special requests or product status

 Oversee and maintain Pest Control Program

 Insure that proper sanitation documentation is filled out and submitted to the Quality Control Department as required

Manage all warehouse employees in the Order Filling, Shipping and Transfer Receiving, Dozen Packing, and Sanitation

 Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units

 Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws

 Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work;

QUALIFICATIONS:

 One year certificate from college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent

combination of education and experience

 Must have experience to operate stand up and sit down forklifts

 Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

 Able to write simple correspondence

 Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees of the organization

 General understanding of database software; Inventory software; spreadsheet software, Word Processing software and

accounting software specific to barcodes

 Able to generate reports based on accounting software

 Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and

decimals

 Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent
