Warehouse Technician is responsible for order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking, and other warehouse related tasks. Job Purpose: Responsible for order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking, and other warehouse related tasks. Essential Job Responsibilities Accuracy in order pulling, shipping and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials

Prepare freight bills and monitor accuracy of completion

Work closely with freight carriers and delivery services to ensure fastest, safest and most economical on-time delivery of products

Ensure orders are shipped to proper customer location, minimizing spill rates

Monitor bin locations, shelf life and FIFO, inventory counting, and cycle counts

Must maintain valid certificate of completion for forklift operations

Must maintain valid certificate of completion for DOT / HazMat 49 CRF 172.704 (Hazardous Material Transportation) and IATA, if applicable

Must follow all federal and state compliance requirements in shipping and receiving products

Assist with ISO quality assurance

Responsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safety

Must facilitate two-way communications with coworkers and supervisory personnel to ensure full customer satisfaction

Must wear appropriate safety gear while on duty

Must monitor warehouse safety and personnel access to warehouse area

Education & Experience

High School diploma or GED required

2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semi-conductor, and/or distribution industry

2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation

Certifications

HazMat Certified or willing to complete the necessary training within 90 days of hire

May be required to possess a valid driver’s license and be subject to periodic DMV checks

Physical Demands

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. if necessary

Ability to stand for long periods of time daily

Can adjust to fluctuations in warehouse temperatures

Ability to drive a forklift and follow safety standards
