Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide support and assistance to geriatrics As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in someone's life Seeking a knowledgeable caregiver who is skilled in changing colostomy bags, ADL care, meal planning and preparations, we are seeking someone is who has at least 5yrs of experience, and who lives in the Plano area or can easily commute to the general area.
Duties:
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with various of disabilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Medication Reminder's as directed by healthcare professionals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all clients at all times
- Assist with meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper client care
- Lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed
- Adhere to client rights and promote independence and dignity
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with colostomy bags
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as transferring client
- Knowledge of working with someone who is hearing impaired
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
