Weekend Overnight Caregiver Needed for Our Mother (Fort Worth)

We are looking for a warm, patient, compassionate caregiver to help care for our loving 92-year-old mother in our quiet home. She has dementia with short-term memory loss and needs gentle support throughout the night with hourly toileting and help returning to bed. She speaks English, and anyone with an interest in her Japanese culture would be especially appreciated.

WHO YOU ARE:

Someone kind, reliable, and comfortable in a family setting (we have cats). Students, EMTs, and anyone exploring a healthcare path are welcome. Experience with dementia is helpful but not required—we value patience and a caring spirit above all.

YOUR ROLE:

Offer calm overnight support and reassurance

Assist with hourly hygiene, transfers, and a bedside commode

Help with basic housekeeping like laundry and linens

Willing to learn to use a stair-climbing wheelchair
