Windows Admin /Systems EngineerThe Cyber Systems Security Engineer candidate is responsible for the definition, design, development, buildup, integration, delivery, and sustainment of complex information systems to support operational platforms. Primary responsibilities include:- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and platform solutions, including servers, storage, and network devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot Linux and Windows operating systems, specifically with RHEL and Windows workstations.
- Make recommendations for infrastructure and platform improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure and platform solutions and configurations.
- Work closely with the development teams to ensure that all application deployments are integrated into the platform seamlessly.
- The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with a range of audiences, technical and non-technical, and will function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative and inclusive environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals, itemized planning of tasks, and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives
- Must be willing and able to travel to an undisclosed location(s), as required by business needs. (les then 1x per quarter. domestic travel only)
This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess a secret clearance with an investigation in the last 6 years and must be able to obtain a top secret clearance.Must Have:DoD Directive 8570.1 IAT Level II or higher certification (CompTIA Security + certification or higher) :Desired skills :Actively hold one or more of the following product certifications: Windows - MCSA, RHEL - RHCSA/Linux+, Cisco - CCNA Security, VMWare-VCAExperience with LAN/WAN infrastructures, TCP/IP, UDP/Multicast IP configuration, peer-to-peer networking, IP addressing & subnets, switching and routingExperience with active directory server administrationExperience administering system functions including security policies and account management of Microsoft Windows and Server as well as Linux/Unix-based systemsExperience implementing the Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) to cyber-harden information systems commensurate with customer needsExperience with documentation and technical writing to maintain system configurations and network diagramsExperience with engineering change processes and/or configuration control processes.Experience with system architecture and system design modeling toolsExperience conducting technical trade studies and assessmentsExperience working in an aerospace design environment with exposure to DoD customersDemonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsWindows/Linux/Unix/Cisco THIRD PARTY AGENCIES, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND RECRUITERS NEED NOT APPLY.
