Windows Systems Administrator

This excellent Dallas, TX Manufacturing Company is seeking a Senior Windows Systems Administrator for their team. Administer day-to-day operations of MS Windows servers and related applications, including support and maintenance of AD, Windows server environment, and network-based applications including O365, Azure AD and setup and configuration of Intel server platforms. Act as Level II/III support for servers and applications that the IT Service Desk cannot resolve. Evaluate new hardware, OS and work with outside vendors to obtain technical specifications for hardware and operating systems.

• Primary support for AD, Windows Server, and VMware environments.
• Provide support for Network Attached Storage.
• Manage VMWare VCenter environment for nearly 500+ virtual servers across multiple physical environments.
• Identify and resolve network hardware and software related failures and issues.
• Ensure network continuity and administer and enhance a Windows 2012 server AD environment.
• Manage and maintain internal and external DNS, DHCP and WINS.
• Develop, deploy, and administer AD domain infrastructure, including including Sites, Services, and routing topology.
• Responsible for GPO design and Organizational Unit structure.
• Upgrade software and install OS upgrades.
• Monitor network and system performance and recommend and implement improvements.
• Implement system and network changes in compliance with company change control policies.
• Document network and system diagrams, process flow diagrams, and backup/recovery procedures.

• Senior level experience in a large-scale MS Windows Environment including: Windows Server 2003 - 2019, AD, O365 and VMWare.
• Familiarity with routing, switching, subnetting and bridging in LAN, WAN, VPN environments, access methods, and network topologies.
• Senior level experience managing a complex AD environment.
