Job DescriptionPosition Summary:

Samsung SDSA's top-notch engineering team is looking for a Windows Systems Engineer in Plano, TX to help support Linux environment in 33 locations throughout the United States. This role is working onsite in the office.

Our team builds, maintains and secures the enterprise level high-performance systems and applications that help create Samsung award-winning products. You will assist other teams with troubleshooting issues in each of their diverse environments.

We are looking for a proactive team-oriented Windows systems engineer with passion for learning new technologies. This is great opportunity to learn and to develop own career with enterprise level hardware / software implementation, operation and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide system administration technical support for the Windows server systems in a multi-platform environment (On Premise and Azure)
  • Provide guidance to the utilization of the Windows Operating System (OS) in the architecture.
  • Provide technical support on current Supporting versions of Windows servers, system analyst support and configuration.
  • Monitor products within the environment using such system monitors as Windows Event logs and Report. Web log files. Report any irregularities via a change management document.
  • Provide consulting and technical advice and problem resolution for development of application programs and system interfaces.
  • Continuously document and share system information with fellow associates as configuration, program or technical changes are made or occur.
  • Provide hands-on, informal training and knowledge transfer to fellow associates.
  • Support urgent case (including non-office hour and weekend)

Job RequirementsRequirements:
  • 8+ years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer.
  • Hands-on with MS Azure, MS Windows Server, and MS SQL Administration.
  • Advanced skills in PowerShell Script is a must.
  • Advanced skills with Active Directory Services, Server Manager, DNS, Domain Group Policy Management and Domain Replication.
  • Strong experience with SCCM, MS SQL, Windows clustering, and Windows Server Update Services and support.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
  • Ability to work well without supervision and collaborate with a team on various projects.
