Wordpress Media Portal Design Expert

New Southern Arizona Tourism Bureau is looking to launch a new media Wordpress portal web site. We are looking for a senior level caliber person with excellent knowledge of:

Wordpress media portal design and management

Breadcrumming

Setting up site structure and architecture best used for SEO

Thorough knowledge of incorporating proper publication of web portal plugins and general strategy.

Establish from the start what plug-ins we should use.

WE ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR SOMEONE who has experience in actually designing and implementing an updated content portal site. This is a long term consulting/contract position. We are looking to work with one specific person - not team.

Our plan is to model off of their site structure, building a large content media portal site. We will focus on strong content, blogging, fast/speedy load times while keeping the readers in our site as long as possible.

Job:

This is a consulting job where the candidate we hire will help choose a WordPress theme, advising and helping us setup the site while delegating much of the work to offshore staff. This will be an on-going consulting contract job.

This will be a permanent ongoing position. Candidate will also be hired by another non profit Tucson tourism portal as well.

We are looking for:

1) Someone with background creating/managing media, news driven. blog sites

2) Professional who can consult with us easily by Zoom or Skype

3) Professional comfortable with the ebs and flows of working with both offshore people as well as citizen journalists we aquire.
