Client is looking for a Workday HCM Consultant with extensive experience in Payroll, ETL, report writing and creating dashboards, scorecards and Client Boards.

Skills and Experience
  • Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) background
  • SAP Finance background, Payroll ideal
  • Security/data privacy knowledge to ensure data protection
  • Risk management
  • Workday conversions background (nice to have)
  • Ability to train/knowledge transfer with developers not experienced in Workday reporting solutions.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex reporting issues.
  • Experience developing reports in the areas of the accounting, finance, or budgets.
  • Experience with higher education, government, or nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish data conversion approach and plan data conversion activities
  • Manage plan changes and risks
  • Establish data validation approach and defect management processes (including development of automated data validation programs)
  • Lead, coordinate the data conversion activities (including data validation) throughout each conversion cycle with hands-on approach if needed
  • Coordinate all infrastructure (servers, environments, etc.) management activities with input from all internal functional teams
  • Provide input for data conversion activities as related to project cutover
  • Support catch-up transactions, as appropriate, by providing data extraction as needed
  • Conduct extraction pre-work activities
  • Liaise with functional teams for locking scope and conversion requirements
  • Main point of contact for project decisions that impact Conversions
