Role: Workday Senior Consultant Location: Santa Clara (Remote) Duration: Long Term Description: Key Responsibilities aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Analyzes business requirements or issues, converts analysis to functional specifications, and designs solutions to meet cross functional business requirements or resolve issues. Performs and documents software application configuration, prepares and executes testing scenarios and scripts (unit, integration, performance, regression, acceptance) and plans data conversions. aria-hidden="true" Provides business application functional support for HR projects. Monitors specific IT systems or set of systems for availability, performance, and capabilities; reports anomalies through predefined process. Participates in evaluation and recommendation of patches, point releases, major upgrades, and new systems. aria-hidden="true" Delivers projects in area of responsibility within allocated budget, scope, and timeline. May be responsible for planning and executing small to mid-size projects and/or for timely renewal of maintenance and subscription contracts. May serve as a team lead on a larger, complex project. aria-hidden="true" Adheres to and guides junior staff and contingent workers to adhere to corporate procedures and methodology for project management, software application development, testing, service management, change management, RCA, and other relevant processes, standards, governance and controls. May manage execution of SOX controls and tests, and support internal and external audits. aria-hidden="true" Responsible for the selection, on-boarding and off-boarding of contingent workers in a timely manner. Manages contingent worker project/task assignments and ensures work product quality. Approves contingent worker time sheets/invoices and/or SOW milestone deliverables. aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Detailed Responsibilities aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Evaluates system enhancement requests, estimates effort and cost of requests. aria-hidden="true" Understands the architecture of new technologies and evaluates them based on the security and privacy IT standards of the company. Presents findings to the internal IT architectural review board. aria-hidden="true" Coordinates with Human Resources teams to implement solutions. aria-hidden="true" Provides guidance on system functionalities and limitations for applications like Workday, Saba, Hadoop and ServiceNow. aria-hidden="true" Supports system upgrade activities and annual program rollouts (performance evaluation, rewards focal, ESPP enrollment, etc.). aria-hidden="true" Manages HR projects and ensures compliance with corporate project methodology. aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Requirements aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" 3-5 years project management experience, Agile or PMP certification preferred. aria-hidden="true" 4-7 years hands-on business process configuration experience with Workday modules like HCM, Talent, Recruiting is mandatory. aria-hidden="true" Hands on experience building Workday reports, integrations and webservices. aria-hidden="true" Understands Workday security features and controls, knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations. aria-hidden="true" Experience working with diverse HR related cloud applications (e.g. benefits, training content providers) and an understanding of how these integrate with core HR systems such as Workday and Saba. Previous experience with Saba and/or ServiceNow is preferred. aria-hidden="true" Must possess HR functional knowledge and understand HR business processes. aria-hidden="true" Ability to holistically understand internal and external applications and how they integrate with each other. Ability to perceive and understand business context in which applications are used. aria-hidden="true" Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and support full life-cycle configurations and integrations. aria-hidden="true" Experience using other data analytics and reporting applications such as Hadoop or Tableau is preferred aria-hidden="true" Ability to communication appropriately to multiple levels in the organization, including customers, peers, executives, and upper management.
