We are looking for an experienced Atlassian admin who is self-motivated and collaborative. This individual would administer project tooling, specifically Atlassian JIRA Work Management, Jira Service Management, Confluence and Bitbucket Server and several add-ons and plug-ins. They will also set up custom features, reports, use cases, and presentation layer. Hyper focused on value driven results, architecture, and the customer.

Your role:

  • Accountable for day to day management and operations of Atlassian Cloud environment, including monitoring, security, vulnerability remediation, performance, data protection and disaster recovery
  • Create, manage, and support all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian product suite
  • Manage Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs by facilitating plugin research, procurement, testing and implementation
  • Create comprehensive JIRA workflows (with conditions, validators, and post functions), screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes
  • Create and configure metrics, dashboards, reports, and advanced filters in JIRA/EazyBI to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful metrics
  • Understand system architecture of upstream and downstream impacts when implementing solutions
  • Devise, test, and deploy integrations between Atlassian products and other internal/external systems
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Atlassian products, administration best practices, and agile methodology best practices
  • Gather requirements from users, propose solutions that meet business needs, and deliver agreed upon solution
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user-guides
  • Able to provide best practices on how to maintain a easy to use documentation structure
  • Conduct user-training and help-sessions for new features or implementations
  • Manage products gaps from business specifications to product enhancements and/or business process change
  • Promote adoption and best practice of Atlassian suite amongst the user-community
  • Self-directed approach with high degree of initiative to investigate and resolve issues
  • Configure monitoring and logging to proactively mitigate system downtime
  • Work to keep the environment updated, healthy and operational
  • Evaluate current configuration of JIRA Work Management to identify opportunities for stability with the eco-system it operates within
  • Create, establish and enforce security best practices
  • Understand permission structure with AD/Okta, Azure AD and Atlassian Access

Your qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working directly with the Atlassian suite of products providing support and administration
  • Atlassian and Certified Product/Program/Scrum Master or equivalent certifications highly desired
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to consult, perform process mapping, collect customer requirements and deliver the agreed upon solution
  • Experience working closely with a managed service provider and Atlassian
