Single Use DivisionA Day in the Life:Assist production and ensure efficient operations through controls support.Practice practical problem-solving techniques.Design, document, assemble, and test modifications to existing equipment, control panels, and control systems.Perform hands-on control panel wiring modifications and remote login problem-solving.Solve and repair AC and DC drives and controllers.Program PID control logic, PLCs, HMIs, and potentially robots.Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers for integration of electrical assemblies.Accountable for project tollgates, quality, and schedule integrity.Proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks.Complete smooth transition of engineering improvement projects with minimal disruption to production.Develop a culture of continuous improvement.Education/Experience:Minimum required: Trade School Completion/Associates and 5 years of system integration and commercialization design experience as an automation or controls engineerKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Complete P&ID designs and documentation.Assist ethernet network and device configuration.Read, understand, and build electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings.Build and modify CAD drawings.Rapidly adapt and respond to changing environments and priorities.Programming experience in applications such as Allen Bradley RSLogix, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View HMI, AssetCentre, or Servo drive programming.Comfortable working on small to large projects spanning days to over a year.Willing to travel to other Single Use Technology and vendor sites.Preferred Qualifications:Instrumentation, data acquisition, and data analysis.Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical/SolidWorks Electrical, robot programmingExperience in qualification, protocol generation, and execution.Knowledge of cGMP and cGDP regulations.Physical Requirements / Work Environment:Office environment. Cleanroom gowning requirements: gloves, cleanroom shoes/coverings, hair & beard net, face cover, safety glasses without piercings, jewelry, makeup, fake/painted nails, etc. Cleanroom humidity controlled above 30% with temperature between 60º and 70º.
