Description Corporate Tax Senior - Short-term ContractWe are currently in search of a skilled Corporate Tax Senior for a temporary 1-2-month assignment assisting our primary tax team during an implementation phase. This role encompasses the management of all tax compliance, filing, and provisions, operating within both federal and state level regulatory environments. Although CPA certification is not a demand, it is crucial that candidates have sufficient experience in a similar role or tax-filled environment.Key Responsibilities:

Manage comprehensive tax compliance, adhering strictly to both federal and state laws.

Conscientiously file precise tax forms within the appropriate deadlines.

Assist in calculating tax liabilities to ensure precise accounting provisions.

Analyze financial documentation and perform necessary adjustments to meet tax requirements.

Prepare monthly/quarterly tax estimates and manage cash tax forecasts.

Perform accurate reconciliations of tax accounts.

Provide strategic advice regarding the tax implications of proposed company strategies.

Maintain current knowledge of tax regulations and principles.

Build and maintain strong relationships with federal and state tax authorities.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline. An advanced degree (e.g., MAcc or JD/LLM) is desirable.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in tax accounting, compliance, or preparation.

Proficiency with tax preparation software and reporting methodologies.

Highly organized with close attention to detail.

Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Availability to work on site 5 days per week, with potential overtime during peak phases.
