We are looking for a Engineer, Traffic in our Salt Lake City, UT office.The Impact You’ll Make (Job Responsibilities)Leads design of traffic engineering projects or traffic design tasks under larger projectsPrepares plans for signing/striping, lighting, traffic signals, ITS, and intersectionsPrepares plans for Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) for large-design build projectsBasic traffic simulation/modeling using HCS, SYNCHRO, CORSIM and VISSIMPrepares traffic impact analysis and other related traffic reportsReview construction plans, design calculations, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure completeness, accuracy, constructability, and conformity to local standards or best engineering practices.Strong report writing skillsBe responsible for the quality assurance and quality control through the development and review of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.Responsible for preparing project reports and feasibility studies.Be a team player who could work with all staff levels.Lead aspects of project pursuit teams and participate in the development of a project proposal and/or interview.
