The Connect team builds solutions to:- automate and streamline our internal and external customer visibility and efficiency
- improve the notification of job status awareness and any actionable items
- provide timely context for discussions between CHG client reps and/or account managers and their respective clients
- work closely with product managers on product priorities along with feature viability and estimates
- closely engage with lead engineers and your teams to design, build, commit and execute
- effectively coordinate with an dependent teamwork
- Lead software development engineers and SDETs to more efficiently and effectively design, build, test and deploy enterprise projects, and continually grow as skilled and competent engineers
- People development including: onboarding, training, mentoring, feedback, & development plans with the ability to coach and develop people for success
- Collaborate effectively with the other leaders to support and execute the short and long term strategic plans for the IT division while using excellent communication skills, in a way that inspires excellence in performance, to gain team alignment to divisional and team strategies, goals and objectives
- Proficiency in one or more languages with preference in Javascript and related stack (i.e., vue.js, node.js)
- Strong working knowledge of integration technologies and tools (web services, Rest services)
- Experience mentoring software engineers and software engineers in test to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
- 1-2 years management experience preferred but not required for the right candidate
- At least 6 years engineering experience building/testing successful production software systems and/or developing/testing large scale software applications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline required (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, able to lead out on on quality processes and metrics
