Description: Job Title – Financial Analyst - GPDJob Location – USA-UT-Salt Lake CityLocation: Salt Lake City, UT - relocation is not offered at this time.Schedule: M-F 9/80 with every other Friday off.The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, interpret and explain difficult concepts concisely, and arbitrate decisions effectively. The candidate will be part of a team within the Product Finance Organization that is focused on product cost analysis, root cause identification and solutions, project implementation and reporting.Primary Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupport Operations and Finance end-users in understanding and identifying anomalies in product cost behaviors, performance and mechanics, particularly in relation to Grouping, Pegging and Distribution (GPD).

Work with functional organizations to project manage process changes and corrections, provide feedback, and support change management.

Support users to identify reporting solutions and data sources, and facilitate reporting process.

Perform root-cause analysis to determine drivers and limitations of product cost integrity.

Perform ad hoc analysis to support business inquiries

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Must have some professional experience with SAP and Grouping, Pegging and Distribution (GPD)

2 years professional experience with analytical skills, including detailed knowledge of Excel, Pivot Tables, and an ability to identify and focus efforts on relevant information.

Must have professional experience using an enterprise system, ERP, and know data mechanics and how the data and systems tie together. SAP preferred.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:Detail-oriented and can identify inconsistencies and patterns within large amounts of data.

Ability to learn quickly, especially in an enterprise environment.

Works well with others and possesses a strong ability to influence outcomes, even of tasks or projects not directly responsible.

Effective communication with peers and leadership; comfortable with PowerPoint, email, and in-person communication.

Successful at managing conflicts and competing interests.

Understanding of Business Intelligence, root cause analysis, SQL reports, SQL report writing, and reporting processes a plus.
